Dr. Pinsonneault, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, is the Imasco Chair of Information Systems and James McGill Professor in the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University.
Dr. Pinsonneault’ s current research interests include the organizational and individual impacts of information technology, user adaptation, social networks, ERP implementation, e-health, e-integration, strategic alignment of IT, and the business value of IT. His research has appeared in several leading journals including Management Science, MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, JMIS, Small Group Research, Decision Support Systems, Organization Science, and the European Journal of Operational Research. Alain Pinsonneault has held numerous editorial positions in top scientific journals such as Organization Science, MIS Quarterly, and Information Systems Research. His research has won several awards and prices, including several best paper awards and the prestigious Doctoral Award of the International Center for Information Technology, Washington and MCI Communications in the U.S.A. He was also named ‘La personalité de la semaine’ by La Presse newspaper.
