Research interests

Nanophotonics: The propagation of light in micro- and nano-structured optical materials. This includes photonic crystals, planar waveguide switches and demultiplexers, diffractive optical elements, and plasmonic systems. Applications are found in optical telecommunications, biomedical sensing and metrology
