MGCR 423 Organizational Policy
My research interests include corporate governance, performance of firms affiliated with the state, intercorporate networks created by ownership and board ties, and evolution of industries in transition economies. In my recent projects, I have studied how the institutional context affects networks of ownership and board interlocks, how involvement of the state in corporate governance affects firms’ performance, and how firms are redefining standards of good corporate governance. My research has been supported by FQRSC and SSHRC grants and published in Organization Science, Journal of Management Studies, and International Sociology.
