John Iton, Retired Associate Professor, PhD from Johns Hopkins. John came to McGill in 1969. He taught both international trade and economic development with research interests in exchange rate regimens and economic development. He has done Population Council-sponsored field research in Brazil, has served as a consultant for the World Bank and as a Brookings Institution fellow, and he conducted a cost-benefit study of the Montréal Olympic Games.
