
Professor Kris Jacobs joined McGill's Faculty of Management in 1995. His research interests include asset pricing, option valuation, financial econometrics, the pricing of fixed-income securities, credit risk, risk management, and the relationship between asset returns and the real economy. Professor Jacobs has published his research in leading journals, and has presented his work at numerous conferences and universities in Europe and North America. His research is funded by grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and the Fonds pour la Formation de Chercheurs et l'Aide a la Recherche (FCAR).
Professor Jacobs currently teaches Investments and Portfolio Management at the BCom and MBA levels, and Empirical Methods in Finance at the Ph.D. level.
