Biography

Professor Jobin is Emeritus Wainwright Professor of Civil Law. Since his appointment as Emeritus Professor in January 2009, he continues to supervise student essays and theses, and to publish in his various fields of interest. Namely, he has written a treatise on the law of lease as part of the 'Traité de droit civil' (2nd edition, 1996), a book on the law of sale (3rd edition, 2007), and, with Justice Jean-Louis Baudouin, 'Les Obligations' (6th edition, 2005). Professor Jobin is a member of the board of the Québec Society of Comparative Law as former president and of committees of the Barreau du Québec.
